  • District and School HIB Grades Beginning with the September 2011-2012 school year, our school district and schools implemented the requirements found in the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act.  During the first two years of implementation of this law, we have made progress in addressing harassment, intimidation and bullying and improving the school climate and culture by implementing the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program with the support of the Rutgers Inclusive Schools Grant and the trainings provided through Atlantic Prevention Resources.  Last year, each school was required to complete a Self-Assessment on the implementation of the requirements of the ABR.  While completing the Self-Assessment, we learned that our school district/schools have demonstrated strengths in a variety of areas, and we continue to review recommendations provided to the School Safety Teams for continuing to promote a positive climate and culture for children.  Our grades are listed for the schools and District and are reported as numerical values as required by the NJ DOE. Any questions please contact the Anti Bullying Coordinator, Mr. Larry DiGiovanni, or either of the Anti Bullying Specialist: Greg Smallwood (Middle) or Kristen Barron (Elementary).
